Girls 8th Basketball vs. Chippewa Middle School-Okemos

The 8th grade girls basketball teams bounced back last night against Okemos. The B team won 27-16. It was very well played game on the defensive end. The Lady Comets were led by Makayla Tupper who finished with 10 points. The A team played a very solid game on both sides of the ball. They defeated Okemos 44-22. The Lady Comets were led by Ava Scanlon who finished with 15 points and 9 rebounds. Other contributors were Lynnaye Croley- White who finished with 8 points and 8 rebounds and Ellie Baynes who finished with 9 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 steals.
Both teams will be back in action Wednesday at Mason.
