The 8th grade girls basketball teams were back in action last night against Holt. It was a very well played basketball game for the B Team. They defeated Holt 35-16. The Lady Comets were led by Kailie Slaybaugh who finished with 15 points. Other contributors were Makayla Tupper with 5 points and Rebecca Foster who finished with 4 points. 

The A team bounced back from a loss to Holt last Thursday. It was a complete game that led to victory over Holt 44-37. The Lady Comets were led by Ava Scanlon who finished with another double double with 10 points and 10 rebounds. Other contributors were Ellie Baynes who finished with 8 points, 9 rebounds, and 9 steals and Isabelle Kebler who also finished with 8 points and 9 rebounds. 

Coach Hernandez would love to give a shout-out to the student section last night. You guys made the game fun, gave the players a lot of energy, and you guys were the 6th man. It truly was a home court advantage.
