IONIA MIDDLE SCHOOL: 0
The Lady Comets were back in action last night against Ionia. The B Team played very well. They defeated Ionia 41-12. They were led by Kailie Slaybaugh who finished with 12 points, Makayla Tupper finished with 8 points, and Rebecca Foster and Shayla Huminski both finished with 6 points.
The A game wasn't the best played game but they were able to fight and take control of the game late. The final score was 42-25. They were led in scoring by Ellie Baynes who finished with 9 points. Other contributors were Ava Scanlon who finished with 8 points and 10 rebounds and Morgan Bagneschi and Val Young both finished with 7 points.
Both teams are back in action to close out the season Thursday night against East Lansing.
