It was a night to remember for both 8th grade girls basketball teams. They took on East Lansing and played two tough games which led to wins. The B team played a complete game and won 30-15. They were led in scoring by Rebecca Foster and Lauren Hanses who both finished with 8 points. 

The A team came out wanting to finish the year with a win. It was a close game in the first half with score 21-14 at the half. The Lady Comets took control in third quarter where they only allowed 1 point and the game was in control the rest of the way. The final score was 43-31. They were led in scoring by Ava Scanlon who finished with 15 points and 15 rebounds. Other contributors were Ellie Baynes who finished with 13 points and 17 rebounds and Isabelle Kebler who finished with 6 points and 5 rebounds. 

It was a great year for both teams. The B Team finished the year 8-1 and the A Team finished 8-2.
