Girls 8th Basketball vs. Waverly Middle School

The B teams second half comeback falls just short. The Comets traveled to Waverly and lost 28-24. They fell behind early and played tough defense and battled their way back into the game. They were led by Braelyn Jackson-Pointers 17 points.
The A team won 49-18. Their high pressure defense forced Waverly into multiple turnovers. A balanced scoring attack paced the Comets. Grace Pribble had 12 points, Alayna Armstrong 11, Olivia Navin 9 and Kiara Page with 8.
Both teams host East Lansing at home on Wednesday
