Grand Ledge 8th grade teams faced the East Lansing Trojans Wednesday afternoon. The Trojan defense kept the B team in check and they lost 35-14. They were led by Braelyn Jackson-Pointer with 10 points. The A team came out fast and jumped out to a big lead. They won 52-11 holding the Trojans scoreless in the second half. They were led by Olivia Navin and Alayna Armstrong with 15 points each and Kiara Page scored 10. The Comets are home Monday hosting Portland.
