Girls 8th Basketball vs. Holt Middle School

The Comets traveled to Holt on Thursday. The B Team played their best game of the year but came up short losing 32-19. Cianna Hall Led the team with 8 points. The A team came out fast with Kiara Page making 7 straight points to start the game. Grand Ledge battled through first half foul trouble to take a 23-22 halftime lead. With the Comet's having to manage fouls, Holt stormed back to take a 35-33 third quarter lead. The Comets then had a big 4th quarter, draining clutch free throws and beat the rams 50-46. Alayna Armstrong led the comets with 24 points, Maddie Barlett chipped in 8. Both teams head to Mason on Monday to finish out the season.
