Girls 8th Basketball vs. Portland Middle School

Thursday the Comets hosted Portland. The B team struggled against their defense in the first half falling behind 16-2. The Comets regrouped and played tough defense limiting them to 2 second half points, but came up short losing 18-10. Somiaya Houston led the Comets with 4 points.
The A team continued its winning streak, beating Portland 63-29. They were led by Olivia Navin with 20 points, Alayna Armstrong 16 and Grace Pribble and Braelyn Jackson-Pointer added 10 points.
Both teams have their final home game Monday vs Okemos.
