The 8th Grade girls picked up their first win of the season beating Haslett 29-26 in overtime.
The game was a defensive battle with the Comets leading 9-7 at the half. Bailey Charter hit a game-tying free-throw with 6 seconds left to send it to overtime. The Comets played great team defense, Emma Miller and Bailey Charter each had 10 points in the win.
