CHIPPEWA MIDDLE SCHOOL-OKEMOS: 0
The 8th grade faced off at home against Okemos. The B team came out hot and never looked back defeating the Wolves 41-7. The Comets were led by Clare powers with 9 points. Olivia Hejnal and Amelia Bryant each had 6 points and Cady Baumer and Addi Ladd each had 4 points and 6 rebounds.
The A team opened up a quick lead and defeated Okemos 36-24. Tomia Geter recorded a double double with 12 points and 10 rebounds. Lexi Raska 11 points, Avi Skinner 5 points and Emily Burger had 4 points and 5 rebounds. The Comets played extremely good team defense.
