Girls 7th Basketball vs. Waverly Middle School

The 7th grade girls team used a combined squad of the A & B team vs the A team of Waverly on Monday night. Waverly jumped out to an 11-3 first period lead. The Comet's came out quickly in the 2nd outscoring Waverly 10-3 in the 2 period. Both teams battled hard in the third period each scoring 5 points. The 4th period was a back and forth affair all tied at the end of regulation. The game went into 3 overtimes and Waverly pulled out the victory 36-29. Shayla Kiser was the leading scorer for the comets with 10 points.
