The B team had an exciting game be Mason. Both teams played great defense with GL taking a 11-6 halftime lead. GL held Mason to just 2 points in the third period. The fourth period started with GL up 15-8. Suddenly everything Mason threw up went in! The game score was 17-16 with 37 seconds left and Mason had the ball. GL had two fouls to give and used them running the clock down to 24 seconds. GL’s defense tightened up and stopped Mason winning 17-16. Emma Miller and Kambree Eberly each had 6 points. 

The A team started out slow, as Mason jumped out to a 16-7 1st period. The comets struggled in the second period to make a shot leading to a 29-14 halftime score. The comets came out playing tough defense in the third and fourth periods holding Mason just 5 third period points. The Comets got hot in the fourth putting up 16 points but fell short 44-30. Kate Oberdank and Bailey Charter watch had 8 points.
