Girls 7th Volleyball vs. Ionia Middle School

The 7th grade girls had their first home match against Ionia. The improvements from their first match on Monday were quite impressive! The Gold team broke through by winning a set; 17-25, 25-18, 12-15. Raegan Ward led the team with the most aces. The team had lots of opportunities to practice their ace cheer with 15 aces, 2 kills and a setter tip.
The Blue team swept Ionia; 25-18, 25-17, 15-12. Sophia Long had the best play of the game, making a diving pass and getting back up to hit the ball for a kill. Annie Grew jump served an ace for match point. The team all together had 21 aces, 5 kills and worked hard on their communication.
